    • Oh, wow! What a lovely thing to say! Like “a magical river”, oh that made me think of fairies and fairy houses! πŸ™‚ Big hugs to you Tonya!

  2. I wondered how you move went, but I was struggling in my house against a yucky virus. Only started to feel better a day ago. Still tired today, but joyful you returned!! I had missed you! I’m sorry to hear the move was difficult, they always are, aren’t they? I hope you find lots of magic and joy in your new home. Blessings, Brenda

    • Yes, the move was rather difficult, I have to admit. But I have made a sanctuary here in my house now. I have put up my little angels, hung my fairy lights, decorated with pink and blue paper flowers, displayed my favorite books with their beautiful colorful covers (by the way have you read the book “The Little white horse”? You MUST you will LOVE it!!), and my mother has sent me some Norwegian spiced tea and I have baked chocolate chip cookies! So now I feel that my surroundings mirrors my inside πŸ™‚ I have really missed you too Brenda! I love your spirit, it feels so safe and secure and fairy-like, and magic-mother-like. When I think of you I think of a beautiful, strong, wild Apple tree with both apple blossoms and delightful red apples, and a bunch of fairies flying about the leaves πŸ™‚ I send you all the well-wishes I can muster, with hope of a swift recovery and lots of new restoring energy! πŸ™‚

      • I have never heard of the Little White Horse, but I ordered it from Amazon just now. I love that image you have of me. I think of myself as a white oak, strong and unbreakable. Growing up to the sunshine, turning my leaves every upward. I like the idea of apples, though. πŸ™‚ I love how you describe your house, filled with angels, flowers, fairy lights and the scent of fresh cookies and spiced tea. What a refuge from the tribulations of the world. I picture you as a white birch, slender, beautiful, deceptively tender looking, yet able to survive extreme cold or heat, always with leaves dancing in the light.

      • Oh, you will adore The Little White Horse!! Tell me what you think after you have read it!! πŸ™‚ A birch tree! How wonderful! I love that! Yes, I think you are right, I always have lots of leaves dancing about! I will invite some fairies to come and live in me! πŸ™‚

      • The fairies have been your faithful friends since you were a young girl, and a troll looks out for you, but it took awhile for him to settle in after your move. πŸ™‚

      • Hihihihi! πŸ™‚ I know that troll!! I saw him in the forest when I was 7! I drew a picture of him on the blackboard in my school and told all the students about him! I only saw him that one time though. He was quite tiny and very chubby, like a thumb πŸ™‚

      • Oh, and you should check out the art of the Scandinavian artist Rolf Lidberg! I grew up with his Troll books, cards and painting! πŸ™‚ They are adorable!! πŸ™‚
