Wild beneath our Wings

When I look into your eyes
I try to surpass the many layers
You hide behind. I pass
The border that says
Wolf, Mammal, Animal.
I find you there
Being, life, energy.
I find my own existence there
Being, life, energy.
This is where we meet.
This where we are the same,
And this is where we
Learn to love each other.

    • Thank you so so much, Erika dear! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–. This is actually inspired by something Cesar Milan said in one of his dog rehabilitation shows. He talked about dogs as energy beings and how they see you for what you truly are and love you unconditionally, and maybe that is what humanity should also strive for. 😊😊😊😊.

      • This is very profound. The reason is that dogs have a personality but they don’t have an ego. That’s why they look beyond the physical appearance. They don’t pre-judge. If we are able to tame our ego and let us getting involved with others we connect on a far higher level which automatically makes us look beyond any physical appearance. πŸ’–πŸ’–

      • Yes! That is beautifully expressed, Erika! πŸ’–πŸ’–πŸ’–. Thank you for adding your wisdom to my blog πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–

    • This is not really about desire, it is about connecting with all life forms, seeing that we are one, understanding that we come from the same source, and are made of the same energy.
