  1. Very insightful twist, Trini. I thought the selfishness would be to avoid other people and shut down. But trying to fix other people can also be selfish, besides being too much work. Occasionally, I forget and fall back into old habits, but not for long. Making progress. Thank you for the reminder.

    • Yes, exactly. When I was a small child I cried when other children were scolded, more than they did, so it was me who needed to be comforted more than the child who had been scolded. I still have a little of that. It would have been better if I was the one who would comfort those in need, without breaking down myself in the process.

  2. And so, step by step, we feel our one self as whole again, Trini!
So much love and encouragement for each step! πŸ’–πŸ’žπŸ’–

We fall only for a moment, time enough to catch our breath again…

  3. The days that I did that in early times just left me nice and guilty. Ah, it all teaches I suppose Trini, plus how would I understand my fear unless I prod it πŸ˜€ ❀️ πŸ™πŸ½ πŸ¦‹ πŸ˜‚ 🀣
