My name is Trini Lind and I am a freelance writer. I come from a coastal city called Stavanger on the South-West coast of Norway.

My site, «Paths of the Spirit”, is mostly dedicated to Art, Photography, Spirituality and Poetry, but you will also find articles and short stories.

I am fascinated by the journey we all go through, not just the physical journey without, but the psychological and spiritual journey within. I believe we have come here to fulfill our highest potential, as individuals as well as a unity.

I have my academic background in Psychology, Developmental Psychology (specializing in Highly Sensitive Children), Comparative Religion and Multiculturalism.

I have previously worked with HSP children, underprivileged children in developing countries, teenage girls with eating disorders, and minority children. I have also conducted Fairy Tale workshops for small children and Youth Groups for teenagers.

I have published articles in newspapers, magazines and online subscriptions about spirituality, eating disorders, and underprivileged Children. I have also had poems and short stories published in children’s magazines and other publications.

Being artistic I love everything that allows me to be creative! I love to paint and draw, I love music and singing, traveling and cooking, and I have a soft spot for vintage fashion (I worked in a vintage shop all through college and was paid in clothes instead of money!).

I hope you will enjoy my site!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Hello Line. As someone who has supported my blog, I wanted to let you know that I will be leaving the blogosphere at the end of the month. Again, thank you for supporting my writing; it really has made a difference. Just now I think it’s time for me to end my current blogging journey, and set out on other journeys.

And while I will no longer be an active blogger, I can still stop in here every now and then to enjoy whatever magic you have left us to brighten our day.

    Jack

  3. Hi Trini,

I was wondering if you would like to participate in “A Tour Through BlogLand” or also known as the “Virtual Blog Tour Award”?

If you accept, it is a single post that you would write on Monday the 9th of February 2015.

    The rules:
    1. Pass the tour on up to four other bloggers. Give them the rules and a specific Monday to post.
    2. Answer four questions about your creative process which lets other bloggers and visitors know what inspires you to do what you do:
•What am I working on at the moment?
•How does my work differ to others in my genre?
    •Why do I write/create what I do?
•How does my writing/creative process work?
    3. Compose a one-time post on a specific Monday (date given from your nominator).

Mine will be up on January 19th, 2015.

  4. Than you for following my photo blog. I loved browsing through your post. Its so wonderful.

Have a great year ahead. Happy New Year

    Regards
    Roshan

    • 🙂 Thank you so so much for saying that! 🙂 I am the kind of person who just have to follow my heart, I mean I dont really have a choice in the matter, my soul’s presence is so so strong, so in that way I do live out my dreams. I believe dreams, true dreams from the heart, are God or the universe whipsering to us and guiding us through life 🙂 and the more we are connected to our souls, the more clearer does that voice become 🙂 ❤

  7. Hi Line:) I am contacting you to query if you should like to participate in a Blog Hop post with me? The Topic of the post is “Why I Write” and its quite simple. You write a post about why you write/ what inspires you, you invite another blogger whose writing you enjoy to participate, you spotlight their blog briefly in your post and then you post. I was invited by a friend and have written my post and would LOVE to spotlight Your Blog/You, should you feel inclined to accept? I will be posting mine tomorrow(hopefully) and then you’d have a week or so to post yours and pass the Hop forward.

You are free to decline, of course, as I know you are Busy as a Bee!! Do please let me know 🙂

    Thank You !!

    • 🙂 Yes I did! 🙂 But I said I wanted to be a writer when I was 4! Hihihihi!! 🙂 🙂 I knew what I wanted! 🙂 I am so happy that you like my writing! 🙂 I know its not very fancy or anything complicated, but I am not a very fancy person! hihihihi!! 🙂 🙂

  8. We are “kindred spirits,” Trini! I have always loved writing myself. I enjoy sports, and my first published story was a biography on legendary NFL coach, Vince Lombardi.

But soon after that, I turned to spiritual articles. I write for the church to which I belong. And, as it happens, I also love psychology and almost took it as my major in college. Finally, my mother wrote children’s poems and had many of them published over 30 years of public school teaching.

It was so nice to have you visit “The True Light!” Please come back whenever you can…

    “TTL”

      • Without a doubt! It will be a pleasure to see you back here, Trini!

(BTW, I have had a good friend named Trini for some time now, really!)
